I started learning kathak again 20 years later when I met Shubha. She is an amazing kathak dancer. She is a very patient and kind teacher but relentless at the same time. She is very confident and knows her subject inside out.

From the very beginning, Shubha tai has taught with great clarity, patience, and perfection. As a beginner, I really appreciate the attention she gives to every small detail, from body direction and eye movements to the crispness of each step. She explains and breaks down movements until they feel clear and achievable. She is also very understanding and makes students feel comfortable.
